The AREA-ROCK is a large, highly realistic, artificial rock base designed to seamlessly integrate Area Lights into any landscape. It is constructed from a unique polyuria/polyurethane combination, ensuring superior structural strength and realism. The outside skin is a high-density polyuria (similar to rhino liner), making it extremely tough; it can’t be scratched or chipped, so you don’t have to worry about your weed eater damaging the rock. The polyurethane foam core provides structural strength, with most rocks being able to support more than 200 lbs. Each rock is hand-colored using a special blend of oxides, sands and crushed rock, resulting in natural, varied hues just like nature.
