Important Tip: Double vs. Single Contact
Be aware that there is also a Double Contact Bayonet (BA15d). It has two contact points on the bottom and is not interchangeable with the single contact version. A 12V Single Contact Bayonet bulb is most often used for landscape, automotive, and marine lighting. The "Single Contact Bayonet" is another classic base type most commonly known by its technical name, BA15s.
